About the Author
Louisville-born Bucky Montgomery is an artist, writer, musician, actor, publisher, host and promoter of various annual Key West events and functions, who has resided in Key West for the better part of twenty years. He writes for the Florida weekly newspaper, is a regular guest and host on various radio shows, produces the annual Best of Key West singer/songwriter compilation CDs (on iTunes and CDBaby.com), has seven of his own CDs (including two from his bands SLAG and Dorothy Boy), is the author of a series of fantasy novels, and has done artwork for businesses all around the world, including Heavy Metal magazine, the San Jose Sharks NHL team, Atari, and the Kentucky Opera. He worked in advertising and publishing for two decades, has bartended, owned a restaurant/bar called Bucky's, worked as a morgue attendant, was a rifleman in an ultralight infantry cohort unit in the United States Army, was a law enforcement officer, and at the opposite end of the spectrum, at one time dabbled in dealing 'contraband'. His next project is a science thriller called Animal Kingdom - the Extinction Virus, due to drop in Fall 2017.
